Remove the 14 chrome screws from
the bottom of the unit. Don't forget
the ones under the "carpet grabber".
Carefully lift the top from the unit.
Note the wires will still be attached and
routed to each pedal so try not to pull
on them too much.
Remove the connections to the potentiometer. They
can be difficult to slide off so a pair of
needle nose pliers can make it easier. Be sure
to pull on the connector, not the wire.
Remove the ground wire attached to the
side of the pedal. This will not be reattached
so put a piece of tape around it to cover the
terminal to insure it can't short something out.
Remove the four black screws that secure
the brake pedal to the base.
